Job summary

Family Dollar in Shenandoah, PA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development.

You will assist with opening and closing procedures, merchandising, scheduling, training and loss prevention, while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for customers and associates.

A high school diploma or equivalent and prior store management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
