Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Virginia LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our Harrisonburg, VA store. You will help with daily store operations, deliver strong customer service, and contribute to team development.

Responsibilities include assisting with merchandise placement, opening/closing procedures, payroll and scheduling tasks, loss prevention, and ensuring a clean, safe, and inviting shopping environment for customers and Associates alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read and interpret directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize merchandise flow from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas to company standards and protect assets.
