Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Burleson, TX to support daily store operations, enhance customer service, and coach team members.

Responsibilities include assisting with merchandise flow from delivery to floor, performing opening/closing duties, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Candidates should have strong communication and problem-solving skills and prior retail leadership experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize merchandise flow from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed and ensure seasonal areas are maintained.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and other communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays and ensure store areas meet company standards.
