Job summary

Dollar Tree in Spring, TX is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run day-to-day store operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will assist in overseeing staff, training associates, and ensuring employees follow policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for storefronts.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged merchandise, and handle records (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits).
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect store assets, including cash, and follow safety policies.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
