Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and candidates should be able to interpret operational directives.
• Retail store management experience preferred (retail, grocery, or drug store).
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and communicate store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record-keeping.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep bathrooms clean and restocked; maintain neat areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
