You will supervise staff in the absence of the Store Manager, assist with hiring, training, and scheduling, and help ensure profitability while upholding company policies. This role requires footwear/athletic apparel knowledge and a proactive customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail environment, footwear/apparel preferred.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Team player focused on customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling store assets and operations.
• Help establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Step in for Store Manager in their absence and manage store responsibilities.
• Support recruiting, training, and evaluation of store staff.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to support profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department duties and standards are met.
• Maintain customer service quality and assist customers during peak periods.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by the store.
