Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky in Elizabethtown is seeking a dedicated Retail Assistant Manager II to drive store sales and oversee daily operations. You will supervise hourly staff, assist with cash handling, donations processing, and ensure customer service excellence on the sales floor.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, training and coaching employees, maintaining store appearance, and coordinating with the Store Manager to meet productivity and safety goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; retail experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred; ACE certifications referenced.

Responsibilities

• Opens & closes the facility (key holder).
• Supervises day-to-day tasks of hourly staff and store operations with the Store Manager.
• Train, coach, and support staff to meet production and sales goals.
• Ensure store is clean, organized, and delivers customer service on the sales floor and donation drive-thru.
• Maintain stock rotation and efficient processing of hard goods and textiles.
• Handle daily cash deposits/reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Complete confidential payroll documents (e.g., Form I-9).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
