Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is seeking a high-energy Store Manager to oversee all operations in our fast-paced retail environment. You will lead a team of associates and assistant managers, drive sales, ensure loss prevention, and deliver a positive shopping experience aligned with our mission and core values.

This full-time, exempt position requires a High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred), 1–3 years of management experience, and the ability to work a rotating schedule

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of management/supervisory experience.
• Retail, logistics, or related experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Key decision maker in improving operational processes and workflows with the senior store manager.
• Manage store expense control and payroll to optimize business.
• Focus staff on Loss Prevention priorities and Safety Awareness.
• Follow company guidelines to foster a positive shopping experience.
• Train, develop, and manage a team of Associates and Assistant Managers.
• Make hiring decisions following the company’s process.
• Manage and coach all associates on achieving sales goals and key metrics.
• Develop a culture aligned with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
