Job summary

Goodwill of Greater Washington is seeking a dynamic retail leader to assist the store manager in daily operations and team development. You will coach direct reports, ensure exceptional customer service, and help drive store performance.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior management experience in a retail or service setting. Flexibility to work varying days and hours is required to meet seven-day operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years of retail or similar management experience preferred.
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; flexible scheduling required.

Responsibilities

• Supports the store manager in overall store operations.
• Trains and coaches direct reports and team leads.
• Fosters exceptional customer service for donors and shoppers.
• Participates in hiring decisions and performance evaluations.
• Performs daily administrative tasks and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Ensures safety and security procedures are followed and store appearance maintained.
