Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, drive customer service excellence, and develop team members in Greenville, NC.

The role emphasizes daily merchandising, loss prevention, and compliance with corporate directives to maintain a well-run store environment. You will assist in ordering merchandise, manage payroll/scheduling, and help ensure store assets are secure while upholding safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store activity communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
