Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Burgaw, NC location.

You will assist with daily store functions, supervise associates, organize merchandise, and help implement corporate directives while maintaining a safe, friendly shopping environment. This part-time role offers opportunities for growth within a national retailer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail store management experience preferred (retail, grocery, or drug store).
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to thrive in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions or concerns in a positive manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
