Job summary

Chedraui USA is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for the Glendale store. The role supports daily store operations, assists the Store Manager, and supervises associates in the absence of the Senior Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities include inventory receiving, stocking, operating the cash register, and basic bookkeeping. The candidate should have retail operations experience and can reinforce company values of teamwork, integrity, accountability, respect and growth.

Qualifications

• At a minimum, applicant will have an Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Retail Management Certificate, or be enrolled in an RMCP course.
• Prior work experience in retail operations or equivalent as determined by management.

Responsibilities

• Assists Store Manager in daily store operations in the absence of the SAM.
• Receives inventory, stocks merchandise, and maintains store sections.
• Operates cash register and processes cash/check/credit transactions.
• Reviews invoices, bills, and price changes for accuracy.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Supervises associates and temporary workforce; handles customer service and refunds.
