Job summary

H&S Energy Products is seeking an Assistant Manager for NORCAL operations at Freedom, CA. The role supports the Store Manager with daily tasks, including paperwork, ordering, and price changes, while ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.

The candidate should have retail or management experience, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to handle multiple duties in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work Sundays through Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior Retail or Management experience preferred.
• Ability to reconcile shift reports and understand their purpose.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet demands, with excellent follow through.
• Ability to identify issues and make the necessary corrections effectively.
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform store manager duties in their absence, including daily paperwork and order processing.
• Demonstrate competent knowledge of POS and back-office systems.
• Resolve customer issues in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assign and inspect shift duties and responsibilities.
• Understand and apply labor laws related to retail operations.
• Promote safety by enforcing rules and regulations.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Interact professionally with all team members.
• May be asked to make recommendations on employee performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
