Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Carrollton, TX to assist with store operations, customer service, and team development. You will support opening/closing procedures and help organize merchandise from delivery to shop floor.

Role requires strong communication, customer service, and leadership abilities; previous store management in retail or grocery is preferred. Part-time position offering benefits and a path to growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics) is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing,stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Process corporate directives and store communications
• Maintain promotional effectively of fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping
• Maintain neat, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom
• Protect and secure store assets including cash
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Foster a positive, safe, respectful environment for customers and staff
• Ensure store areas are clean and presentable
• Other duties as assigned
