Alta External Careers Site is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Oregon for a full-time position with benefits. You will support store operations, assist customers, and lead during the Store Manager's absence, ensuring a safe, customer-focused shopping environment.

Qualifications include 2–4 years in supervision or team leadership in retail, 18+ years old, and ability to work weekends/holidays. Strong English communication and the ability to follow instructions are required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as a Supervisor or Team Lead in a retail store.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Strong ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to lift/pull at least 20 lbs.
• Ability to work irregular shifts including weekends, overnight shifts and holidays.
• Work indoors primarily, with occasional outdoor periods.
• Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours and climb a ladder when needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in all store operations and help ensure a safe, customer-focused environment.
• Assist customers in purchasing products and develop customer connections.
• Maintain a positive attitude and lead by example in the absence of the Store Manager.
