Goodwill Industries Of Central Florida Inc is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily store operations, supervise staff, and uphold community-focused services. The role involves assisting in training, ensuring store appearance, and safeguarding assets in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include staff supervision in the Store Manager's absence, handling donations, pricing, and customer interactions, while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be well groomed and personable.
• Ability to read, write, and do simple math functions.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to exercise good judgment.
• Must have effective communication skills.
• Ability to supervise personnel.
• Must be sales oriented.
• Must have a telephone and a car.
• Must have a current driver's license and insurance.
• Must be bondable.
• Ability to pass drug screen before receiving store keys and random drug test thereafter.
• Results of limited criminal history check must meet company standards.

Responsabilités

• Assist Manager in supervising all store personnel on a daily basis.
• Assume managerial functions in the absence of the Manager.
• Assist in training and developing store employees and clients.
• Maintain dress code and wear designated identification.
• Assist in stock procedures and donations handling.
• Assist in price quoting and stock placement checks.
• Maintain store appearance and shop-ability; reduce theft.
• Handle refunds and customer complaints as required.
