Holiday Oil seeks an Assistant Manager to oversee daily store operations in the Salt Lake City area. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, supervising staff, and assisting with inventory and deposits.

You will help ensure smooth opening and closing routines and maintain safety standards across shifts. Ideal candidates bring retail experience and strong communication skills, with comfort using cash registers and POS systems.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to open and close stores across Sunday through Saturday schedule.
• Previous experience in customer service preferred.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to manage skills and work with the team to accomplish tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support team members to ensure excellent customer service.
• Handle cash management, prepare daily sales reports, and make bank deposits.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering merchandise and fuel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns, professionally resolving issues.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the store and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
• Assist in scheduling shifts and managing employee performance.
