Job summary

Little Green Apple is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Assistant Store Manager for a full-time role in a retail environment. The position focuses on sales, service, and relationship-building, with leadership responsibilities and daily store operations support.

The role requires providing exemplary customer service, product knowledge, and teamwork with the store manager to drive productivity and profitability. Availability to open/close and cover weekend shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to open and close the store at least 3 times per week.
• Ability to work two weekend shifts per month.
• Flexible schedule including events, holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a warm, inviting, easy-to-navigate shopping environment.
• Build and share expertise on products, promotions, services, and brand rewards programs.
• Serve as a support for store management with the team.
• Help customers find the perfect card and gift solutions to fulfill caring and connecting missions.
• Share stories and communities of caring to reinforce kindness.
• Handle store operations: replenishment, merchandising, ringing sales, shipments, inventory, and curbside orders.
• Deliver an exceptional consumer shopping experience that encourages return visits.
• Work as a team to meet sales goals and ensure customers leave with what they need and more.
• Uphold all company policies and practices.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
