Citi Trends in Ohio is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead a small team, and assist with hiring and onboarding of store associates.

You will help drive sales, maintain operational excellence, ensure excellent customer service, and uphold merchandising and loss-prevention standards while partnering closely with the Store Manager. This role requires strong communication, flexibility, and a customer-focused mindset to deliver a rewarding shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to achieve sales and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Supervise associates and support Store Manager with hiring, onboarding, and training.
• Maintain safe, organized store environment and support merchandising standards.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
