Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead a talented sales team, and assist the Store Manager with staffing, onboarding, and development. You will drive sales performance and ensure a consistent, customer-focused experience.

This role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of store associates.
• Supervise associates in sales, inventory, and cash handling.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and loss prevention standards.
