Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Reynoldsburg, OH to support daily store operations, lead a team, and assist with staffing efforts. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will help drive sales performance, maintain operational excellence, and support hiring and development of store associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Supervise associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training.
• Help maintain appropriate staffing levels and employee retention.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to associates.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and customer-focused store environment.
• Reinforce adherence to policies and loss prevention standards.
• Support merchandising, operational, and visual standards.
• Perform additional duties to support store operations and business needs.
