Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. seeks a Retail Assistant Manager to oversee customer service and lead store staff under the Store Leader. You will help recruit, train, and develop a strong team while executing merchandising and marketing programs to boost sales and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and cash handling skills. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management or lead roles preferred.
• Ability to train and coach store staff in customer service.
• Familiarity with merchandising and loyalty programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer service leadership alongside Store Leader.
• Develop leaders, identify qualified applicants, and drive retention.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Manage cash handling and fuel transactions; promote loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe store, stocking and sanitation compliance.
• Communicate effectively; use MS Word/Excel for reporting.
