Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Austell, GA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with merchandise transfers, merchandising standards, and opening/closing duties while ensuring a safe, friendly shopping experience.

The role requires strong communication, customer service, and leadership abilities to train and guide Store Associates in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays and ensure store standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll/scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked store and secure all assets.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
