Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Metter, GA location. This role involves supervising staff, organizing merchandise, and ensuring smooth daily activities.

You will assist with opening/closing, adhere to company policies, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. Prior retail leadership and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention activities.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a safe, positive, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
