Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store operations and lead a frontline team. You will manage registers, assist customers, and drive upsell opportunities while maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment.

You will coach staff, help hire and train teammates, and step in as acting manager on off shifts. A Food Safety Certification is preferred or obtainable, with open availability including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Excellent English communication and basic math skills.
• Willing to obtain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Assist with hiring, training, and leading a high-performing team.
• Act as manager when Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to stay stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits, oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.
• Other duties as assigned
