Job summary

Pilot Flying J is seeking an experienced Retail Assistant Manager to oversee our high-volume retail facilities and drive progress toward sales, profit, and customer satisfaction goals.

You will build and coach teams from staffing, interviewing, hiring and training perspectives, while managing P&L and inventory. A flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, grocery or similar service with P&L accountability.
• Experience managing high-volume retail operations with accountability for financial results.
• Strong customer-focused leadership and ability to drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver on profitability targets.
• Lead and develop store teams, including interviewing and training.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels and shrink.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform P&L analysis and support business decisions.
