Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking an Assistant Manager to blend sales strategy, operations, styling, and people leadership. You will drive daily store performance, coach staff, and maintain brand standards while delivering outstanding customer service.

You’ll supervise opening/closing, staffing, and payroll, manage inventories, and ensure compelling visuals. A promote-from-within culture supports growth into future leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong customer focus and ability to drive results in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of coaching others.

Responsibilities

• Perform Opening and Closing Routines.
• Supervise salesfloor & stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service & seamless operations.
• Conduct staffing and scheduling operations and payroll management.
• Train and develop the non-management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness, while driving sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyze reporting to inform decision making.
• Protect store assets & perform inventory control.
• Operate Register/Point of Sale systems.
• Fulfill OMNI Channel Orders.
• Represent the Brand and Exemplify Company Culture and Values.
