Job summary

Family Dollar in Idabel, OK is seeking a store associate/lead to assist with daily store functions and provide friendly customer service while organizing merchandise and maintaining displays. You will support the Store Manager, train and develop associates, perform opening/closing tasks, and ensure cleanliness, safety, and policy compliance across the store.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; ability to read and explain directions.
• Strong customer service orientation and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing merchandise and maintaining seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and payroll/scheduling records.
• Maintain a stocked and organized sales floor and stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Ensure policy compliance and safety guidelines.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
