Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Support customers with a positive, approachable attitude.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handle damaged merchandise, payroll and schedules, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom according to company standards.
• Protect store assets including cash and security measures.
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and company policies.
• Help supervise, train and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of store including bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall presentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
