Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Greenville, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and develop a reliable team.

You will assist with opening and closing, organize merchandise, supervise associates, and ensure store standards while upholding safety and loss prevention. Part-time position, located at 4420 E. 10th Street, Greenville, NC.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays to ensure effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, record-keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain clean and well-stocked store areas.
• Protect company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, restocked, and presentable.
