Job summary

External Ocean State Job Lot is seeking a Store Area Team Leader in Coventry, RI to ensure that all areas within responsibility adhere to merchandising standards while leading and supporting store teams. This role entails effective management of freight operations and inventory, fostering a collaborative team environment, and championing customer service excellence.

The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of retail management experience and be proficient in the Google platform. Competitive hourly pay between $24 to $26 with benefits including medical coverage and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of previous retail management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Google platform (i.e., Sites, Slides, Drive, Docs, Sheets).
• Preferred experience with HCM and Business Intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

• Support Company programs to maximize revenue and achieve store goals.
• Lead and support an efficient freight flow process and maintain a well-organized backroom.
• Maintain optimal store inventory levels with the Store Team Leader.
• Ensure compliance with Company merchandising standards.
