Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking an Area Manager to lead 8–12 retail locations within the Naugatuck, CT area.

You will supervise Field Supervisors, drive merchandising execution, manage labor and profitability, and partner with Regional Managers to achieve company objectives. The role requires 3–5 years of retail operations leadership, strong coaching and communication skills, and the ability to travel throughout the territory.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years retail operations leadership experience.
• Experience managing multiple locations.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Field Supervisors and conduct weekly one-on-one coaching.
• Develop leadership talent and drive employee engagement.
• Manage territory performance including labor hours, shrink, payroll accuracy, store coverage, and seasonal staffing.
• Budgeted labor hours, payroll accuracy, territory profitability, and shrink reduction.
• Coordinate staffing plans and staffing adjustments based on business demand.
• Ensure inventory management, safety compliance, and adherence to SOPs across locations.
• Strengthen customer partnerships by resolving escalated operational concerns.
