Job summary

The Opportunity

This role is critical to the company's continued growth and drive toward being the best vertically integrated operation in the Massachusetts market. Reporting to the Retail Manager, the Team Lead position is a healthy combination of customer service, employee engagement, inventory control and compliance at our dual located recreational and medical dispensary.

About the position:

The role of Inventory Team Lead is a hybrid role between retail operations, customer service and inventory management. Not only are you a leader and role model for the retail staff, but also essential to inventory and compliance. The role requires effective time management and a self-starter who can multitask while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities include

• Opening and closing the dual located dispensary
• Assisting with managing of staff
• Customer service including handling customer transactions, customer education and assisting with escalated customer issues
• Maintaining accuracy of all cannabis and non-cannabis inventory
• Inventory audits
• Vault organization
• Ensure all product and menus have matching current and accurate testing information, pictures and product descriptions
• Responsible for receiving, inspecting for damage, counting, organizing and storing new product deliveries compliantly
• Responsible for storing and recording quarantined and to-be-destroyed cannabis products compliantly as per State regulations and store policies
• Work closely with management to ensure product par levels are maintained and expiration dates of products are monitored
• Balancing and transferring inventory across our recreational and medical licenses
• Maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times
• Provide leadership, training, guidance, and support to team members that foster continuous learning and improvement in the performance of the store
• Maintaining a detailed understanding of State regulations regarding cannabis and ensuring compliance

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-year Inventory Control experience preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the US
• Must be able to pass all background checks required by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission
• General knowledge of cannabis products and a willingness to advance their cannabis knowledge is preferred
• Excellent verbal/written communication and listening skills
