Job summary

Harvest Group invites a Summer 2027 Target Client Services Intern to join our Minneapolis team and gain hands‑on experience in the fast‑paced retail industry. You will analyze retail data, uncover insights, and help translate data into stories that inform client strategies and business decisions.

Throughout the 12 weeks, you’ll work with Target client teams, learn our systems, and contribute to a summer project that showcases your findings to Harvest Group leaders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree with junior, senior, or graduate student status preferred.
• Interest in a career in sales, analytics, account management, or the retail industry.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with an interest in using data to uncover insights.
• Highly curious with a strong desire and ability to learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
• Self‑motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and build strong working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Learn Harvest Group systems, tools, and processes to support day‑to‑day client business needs.
• Collect, organize, and analyze point‑of‑sale and syndicated data using Target systems and sources such as Circana and Nielsen to identify trends and develop actionable insights.
• Support recurring client reporting by helping translate data into clear takeaways and business recommendations.
• Contribute to internal team meetings and client discussions to gain exposure to client management, retail strategy, and the Target business.
• Participate in professional development and learning opportunities throughout the internship.
• Collaborate with fellow interns on a summer project and present findings and recommendations to Harvest Group leaders.
