Job summary

Buckle is seeking a part-time Seamstress/Tailor at our Metairie, LA location to fulfill alterations for guests. The role involves using Buckle sewing machines, taking measurements, marking alteration lines, removing threads, resewing, pressing, and maintaining logs. A flexible schedule may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.

Must be 18+ and able to lift 25 lbs. Responsibilities include meeting guest expectations, following ticket instructions, and upholding Buckle's ethics

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related sewing, fitting, and alteration experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality alterations on merchandise at store location.
• Follow ticket instructions and markings based on Guest specifications.
• Accommodate Guests with on the spot alterations when requested by Store Leaders.
• Meet deadlines and Guest expectations for merchandise alterations.
