Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is opening a new store in Round Rock, TX and is hiring for a Seamstress/Tailor to support alterations in-store. You will perform quality alterations, hem jeans, and assist guests with on-the-spot alterations as needed.

Flat schedule with flexibility including weekends and holiday periods. Prior sewing or alteration experience preferred; high school diploma required. Join a team focused on delivering a top-notch guest experience.

Qualifications

• Requires experience in alterations and sewing techniques.
• High attention to quality and accuracy in alterations.
• Customer service mindset to meet guest expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality alterations on merchandise at store location.
• Measure and mark alteration lines.
• Use sewing machine to alter jeans and pants.
• Record alterations and maintain the alteration log.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and meet productivity goals (e.g., four jean alterations per hour).
