Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Authorization Driver in Manchester, PA to safeguard clients across retail and café locations. You will manage access points, verify credentials, support badge processes, and deliver superior customer service while patrolling and remaining vigilant.

This full-time position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state, 21+ for armed roles, a high school diploma, and successful background checks with drug screening.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors while following security procedures and site policies.
• Control access by verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and documenting activity.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the café and surrounding areas.
• Submit accurate daily activity reports and access-control logs.
