Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Authorization Driver in Manchester, PA. This full-time role involves controlling access at a retail site, verifying credentials, managing badge processes, and delivering excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and shoppers.

Responsibilities include patrolling, responding calmly to incidents, documenting activities, and ensuring adherence to site procedures.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience required.
• A valid driver’s license in the job state is required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors at a retail café location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to designated areas by verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the café, surrounding retail areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and access-control concerns.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access-control logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
