Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Authorization Driver in Manchester, PA to safeguard clients across retail and café locations. You will manage access points, verify credentials, support badge processes, and deliver superior customer service while patrolling and remaining vigilant.

This full-time position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state, 21+ for armed roles, a high school diploma, and successful background checks with drug screening.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Access Authorization Driver in Manchester, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a retail location, you will help maintain a welcoming environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, supporting badge processes, and providing exceptional customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and shoppers. Pay Rate: $18.55 / Hour

• Age Requirement: Candidates must be 21 years of age or older (C101).
• Driver's License: A valid driver's license in the job state is required (C124).
• Experience: Previous experience with access control and badge systems is essential (B201).

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors at a retail café location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to designated areas by verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the café, surrounding retail areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and access-control concerns.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access-control logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
