Job summary

Bishop Fleming is seeking a Restructuring Partner in the UK to lead our Restructuring and Insolvency team. In this high-impact role you will shape strategy, win new work, and manage complex corporate insolvency matters with a focus on delivering exceptional client outcomes.

You will drive business development, oversee projects from initiation to delivery, mentor teams, and contribute to firm-wide strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Extensive restructuring and insolvency experience.
• Experience of winning client work is essential.
• Demonstrable leadership skills.
• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• JIEB qualified and appointment taking.

Responsibilities

• Business Development: Cultivating and expanding a network of intermediaries and referral contacts to identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Restructuring and Insolvency projects: Advising clients and directors on options and strategies in solvent, distressed and insolvent situations; leading a portfolio of principally corporate insolvency cases; collaborating to deliver solutions.
• Project Coordination: Ensure assignments are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards.
• Team Development: Managing and developing team members, overseeing resource planning, and supporting career growth.
• Strategic Leadership: Contributing to strategies and business plans, identifying new revenue and cross-selling opportunities.
• Collaboration: Working with internal teams to identify and support restructuring and insolvency opportunities.
• Technical Expertise: Sharing knowledge, ensuring risk management, and maintaining quality standards.
