Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal Dallas seeks a Restructuring Director to guide complex turnaround engagements. You will lead diverse restructuring projects, mentor junior staff, and drive strategic initiatives across client organizations. Expect 100% travel and close collaboration with senior management to deliver value in distressed and post‑distress scenarios. This role requires deep industry knowledge and a hands‑on leadership style.

Qualifications

10+ years of work experience in corporate restructuring, investment or consulting with 5+ years direct restructuring experience.
BA/BS degree and/or MBA/MS in Accounting, Finance, or related analytical fields.
Understanding of Chapter 11 proceedings.

Responsibilities

Developing and leading restructuring and turnaround plans to improve enterprise value and performance.
Providing day‑to‑day team management to ensure plans, budgets, and schedules are adhered to.
Acting as the point of contact for assigned workstreams within client engagements.
Performing and overseeing analysis on company business plans.
Reviewing and presenting 13‑week cash flow and 3‑statement financial models to clients.
Leading clients through processes including working capital improvements, bankruptcy prep, and credit negotiations.
