Restore System Administrator

Key Responsibilities

Data Restore & Backup Operations

• Restore files, user profiles, and mailboxes using backup applications such as NetBackup, Avamar, and Commvault.
• Work in a Data Center environment to handle tape movement and management to support data restores.
• Develop, manage, and test backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

Disaster Recovery & Continuity

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for critical systems and services.
• Participate in disaster recovery drills and business continuity planning.

Customer Support & File Management

• Assist customers with file management, profile standards, and email organization.
• Apply knowledge of profile and permission structures to support user access and security.
• Manage ticket resolution in alignment with SLAs, ensuring timely and effective issue handling.

Documentation, Reporting & Collaboration

• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Create reports on system performance, security incidents, and other key metrics.
• Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure seamless delivery of IT services.
• Provide recommendations for system improvements based on analysis and industry best practices.

Work Schedule

• Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
