Job Summary / Position Overview

As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, delivering product and project knowledge, and creating memorable and engaging interactions with customers. You will play a crucial role in fostering long‑term relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored solutions to exceed expectations, establishing ReStore as the number one source for all home repair and DIY projects. Sales Associates are also responsible for achieving personal and store sales goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide information about the organization’s mission, values, and impact to the community.
• Develop strong relationships with customers by actively listening to their needs, preferences, and feedback.
• Display expert knowledge on available in-store inventory by building complete solutions for their home improvement projects.
• Assist with maintaining a visually appealing and organized store environment to showcase inventory effectively.
• Perform POS transactions accurately and efficiently, while following all cash handling procedures.
• Represent Habitat for Humanity with integrity and honesty in all interactions with customers.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow from product receiving to product merchandising and ending with an amazing customer experience.
• Collaborate with internal teams to communicate customer feedback and improve processes.
• Stay informed about the organization’s mission, values, and programs.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance the team’s knowledge of experience guidelines and quality standards.
• Contribute to the training of new team members on customer interactions and quality control procedures.

Education and Experience
