New Haven Public Schools is seeking a Restorative Practices Teacher Leader to build district capacity in restorative approaches. The role focuses on coaching, supporting, and ensuring accountability to reduce student disengagement and to implement a continuum of restorative practices with data-driven oversight.

The Restorative Practices Teacher Leader is responsible for building the capacity of school and district leadership to reduce student disengagement through coaching, supporting, and ensuring accountability; to effectively implement a continuum of restorative practices and systems to build community, prevent harm and ensure student accountability. The position involves the coordination of districtwide infrastructure and strategy to provide and monitor the effectiveness of the restorative practices continuum (universal, additional, and intensive supports) using data. The position is within the Office of Youth, Family, and Community Engagement and reports to Supervisor of Youth Engagement
Must possess and maintain the certification requirements as established by Connecticut State Statutes.

Salary: (contingent on degree and years of experience)
$53,220 - $108,047
Evaluated annually in accordance with the district's policy for the evaluation of Teachers and the New Haven Federation of Teachers contract.
