Job summary

Willow Crossing in Columbus, IN seeks a Restorative Nurse Aide to perform restorative nursing duties and document resident responses as part of the care plan. The role supports therapists and nursing staff by performing ROM, transfers, ambulation, and activities of daily living per plan of care.

Eligibility includes CNA training, a preferred HS diploma, and readiness to work under supervision with residents and families. The Rehab Manager oversees duties and ensures quality of care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Has successfully completed the Certified Nursing Assistant course.
• Prefer some experience in restorative nursing and familiarity with rehabilitation principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform range of motion for upper and lower extremities per plan of care.
• Ambulate designated residents with walker or cane per plan of care.
• Perform transfers of designated residents per plan of care.
• Assist with feeding/dining room organization.
• Encourage mild geriatric exercises individually or in a group setting.
• Follow therapist recommendations to preserve/enhance residents’ function.
• Ensure splinting devices are applied per physician's order.
• Record keeping/documentation: dates, who performed services, duration, resident response.
• Assist with activities of daily living per plan of care/Restorative Programs.
