Job summary

Avantara Arrowhead is seeking a Restorative Nursing Aide to join our caring team in South Dakota. You will perform mobility exercises and assist residents with ADLs to restore mobility and improve overall wellbeing.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalency, an unencumbered CNA certificate, and CPR/BLS certification. Prior CNA experience is preferred; training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required and an unencumbered CNA certificate is preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• One year of CNA experience is preferable but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Improve residents' quality of life by providing restorative nursing care.
• Perform mobility exercises per individualized care plan to restore mobility.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and with assistive devices.
• Observe changes in residents' condition and report to the care team.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment and document care.
• Participate in ongoing education to support resident well-being.

As a Restorative Nursing Aide, you are instrumental in improving the lives of our residents. must be CNA licensed to work in SD! Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Arrowhead by performing mobility exercises for our residents in accordance with their individualized care plan, assisting residents attain the highest physical and emotional wellbeing possible by restoring mobility, performing Activities of Daily Living, assisting residents with assistive devices, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
