Job summary

Avantara North is seeking Restorative Nursing Aides to join a friendly, supportive team. You will help residents improve mobility, assist with daily living activities, and support their overall well-being per individualized care plans.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a South Dakota CNA certificate, and CPR certification. One year of RNA experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; unencumbered South Dakota CNA certificate and CPR certification.
• One year of RNA experience is preferable but the right candidate will be considered for development.

Responsibilities

• Perform mobility exercises per residents' individualized care plans.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living.
• Support residents with assistive devices and maintain safety.
• Observe changes in residents' condition and report promptly.
• Provide education and information to residents and families as needed.

As a Restorative Nursing Aide you are instrumental in improving the lives of our residents. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara North by performing mobility exercises for our residents in accordance with their individualized care plan, assisting residents attain the highest physical and emotional wellbeing possible by restoring mobility, performing Activities of Daily Living, assisting residents with assistive devices, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of South Dakota C.N.A. certificate and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of R.N.A experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
