Job summary

Avantara Arrowhead is seeking a Driver to join our caring team. You will assist residents by transporting them to appointments and activities, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey.

The role emphasizes attention to detail and a high standard of care within a skilled nursing environment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid SD driver’s license; an SD CNA license is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Unencumbered driver’s license as required by the State of South Dakota.
• SD CNA license strongly preferred; prior driver experience in SNF is a plus, company willing to invest.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from appointments outside the facility.
• Transport residents to and from activities and functions.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and safe environment in the facility vehicle.

As a Driver you will assist our residents in receiving the specialized care they need. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Arrowhead by transporting them to and from appointments outside of the facility, transporting residents to and from activities and functions, and ensuring a clean, sanitized and safe environment in the facility vehicle. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe. To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered Driver's License or other motor vehicle operator license as required by the State of South Dakota, and an active SD CNA license is strongly preferred.
