Job summary

Crowne Health Care in Alabama is seeking a Restorative Nurse (RN or LPN) for a Monday–Friday, Day Shift role in a long-term care and rehabilitation facility. You will coordinate restorative nursing services, ensure accurate documentation, and work closely with nursing, therapy, MDS, and administration to support residents’ highest level of function.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN or LPN license, with preferred experience in long-term care or restorative nursing.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN or LPN license.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Restorative nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise restorative nursing programs and services for residents.
• Monitor residents’ progress and ensure programs follow the plan of care.
• Work with therapy staff to help residents achieve their highest practicable function.
• Collaborate with MDS, nursing, therapy, and administration regarding resident care and restorative needs.
• Ensure restorative nursing documentation is complete, accurate, and timely.
• Maintain documentation to support care planning, reimbursement, and regulatory requirements.
• Educate and support nursing staff and CNAs regarding restorative programs and techniques.
• Monitor programs and adjust as resident progress and needs warrant.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, mobility, and quality of life.
