Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess residents' needs and develop comprehensive restorative nursing care plans.
• Implement restorative nursing interventions to promote and maintain residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being.
• Provide hands‑on assistance, guidance, and education to nursing staff on transferring, ambulation, and ADLs.
• Monitor residents' progress regularly and adjust care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document all interventions, progress, and changes in residents' condition accurately and timely.
• Conduct regular assessments of mobility, range of motion, and functional abilities, and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
• Coordinate with rehabilitation therapists to integrate restorative nursing activities with therapy goals.
• Educate residents and family members on restorative nursing programs and strategies for maintaining independence.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment conducive to restorative care practices.
• Stay updated on current trends, research, and best practices in restorative nursing and incorporate them into clinical practice.
